Ron K. Labrum brings to the ASI board his considerable knowledge of blood device technology manufacturing and supply chain management. Most recently he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fenwal Inc., a $630 million blood technology device manufacturer, serving customers in 60 countries. Fenwal was spun-off from Baxter Healthcare in 2007 and sold to Fresenius HC in 2012. Mr. Labrum’s early career began at American Hospital Supply Corporation, which was purchased by Baxter International where he quickly rose to successively more important positions in marketing, purchasing and operations.
In 2000 Mr. Labrum was elected President of Allegiance Healthcare and Executive Vice President of Cardinal Health, its parent company. He was promoted to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cardinal International and Integrated Provider Solutions in 2004. Mr. Labrum serves on the board of the National Blood Foundation, as well as other boards. He holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Utah State University.
