Michael A. Jones brings with him extensive experience in corporate development for both public and private companies, and recently retired from General Electric (GE) where he most recently was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development/Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), leading these activities across all of GE’s industrial businesses.
Prior to that role, he was Executive Vice President, Global Growth at GE, leading a team of over 300 professionals globally, focusing on corporate and market development in the emerging growth markets. Previously, for over a decade, he was a member of the senior leadership team at GE Healthcare, leading strategy, corporate development and M&A. In his over 20 years at GE, he completed over $70 billion in mergers & acquisitions, and over $30 billion in divestitures across a wide range of transaction types globally. Early in his career he spent over a decade as an investment banker, focused on M&A advisory and capital raising for global technology companies. Mr. Jones currently serves an advisor and director for a number of private healthcare, lifestyle, and technology companies. He holds an A.B. in economics from Princeton University.
